Activities in the Verdon
The Verdon region provides things to do for everyone to give you a great holiday. Whether you are very sporty, love culture, are a nature lover or prefer to keep it very quiet, our region has a lot to offer. Start with a good breakfast:
As active people, starting the day with a balanced breakfast is very important. That's why we offer a varied breakfast with freshly fruit salad, yoghurt, white or multigrain bread according to your wishes, home-made jams with lots of fruit in particular, home-made chocolate spread, artisanal lavender honey, ham and cheese, eggs and ... a sweet surprise should not be missing as well!
Visit markets, wine castles, olive press, truffle museum,...:
There are daily typical Provençal markets nearby; the Sunday morning in our village with lots of goodies. In Aups, 10 km from our domain, there is a white truffle market every Thursday in summer and a black truffle market from the end of November until the end of February. There is also the possibility in numerous gastronomic trips where you can discover all the delicacies of our region.
Hiking:
There are numerous marked trails in the area. We have many hiking maps and know many routes like the back of our hand, so we are happy to give you tips!
As many of the hikes are on rocky paths, it is advisable to bring sturdy walking shoes and walking sticks for those who like challenging walks.
Cycling and mountain biking

Motorbikes
Of course, our region is hugely popular for motorbike touring. We have already been able to give many tips for touring in the area. And after a day of motorcycling, you can chill out at the pool afterwards and enjoy a 3-course meal at home.
Water sports
Numerous water sports on the lakes and in the gorges: swimming, kayaking, pedalo, stand-up paddle or even a trip through the gorge in an electric boat are all among the possibilities. Some rental companies nearby: location-bateaux-verdon.com, bateau-location-verdon.com, canoe-verdon.fr
Water shoes are recommended if you plan to spend time at one of the lakes.
Horse riding
There are several ranches in our area that offer beautiful rides in the natural park, e.g. there is one in Artignosc that guides rides along the Verdon: leschevauxduverdon.fr
Fishing
There are many places where you can go fishing. However, this requires a permit. These can be obtained at: cartedepeche.fr
